How long have u been living there?
I've been here for about 2 months now. But I've been mostly inside painting.
Where do you get your inspiration?
Nature, science, intricate textures, the human brain, mold, wood grain, organization of complex things.
What's your favourite color?
Red. But I like all the warm ones next to it too.
When are you the most productive?
I think in the morning. After coffee and before lunch.
Where is your favourite vacation-spot?
I don't know. . . Some place new.
What kind of music do you like?
All sorts, I think lately I like a lot of ambient, classical, avant garde classical. I like generally new indie rock stuff too, though I hate to call it that. There is a great station I listen to online, KALX.org.
Any exhibitions planned this year?
Yes, I have one on October the 17th. I'm pretty stressed about it right now as I usually get right before a show. It's going to be in Los Angeles at Richard Heller Gallery. (www.richardhellergallery.com) I will also be in the Art Fair 21 in Köln, October 29 - November 1. That will be with SozyOne and Wayne Horse in the Arty Farty Gallery Booth. What is your favourite material to work on?
For painting, I like acrylic on paper. For sculpture I like wood.
What are your tools? (special pens, colors etc.)
Nothing special. It's pretty basic. Acrylic paint and paper.
