Im 28 years old and live in Sydney, Australia. I did study graphic design years ago but am mostly self taught.
How long have u been living there?
Born and raised in Sydney.
Where do you get your inspiration?
Friends, family, other artists I work and hang out with, skateboarding, city life, TV, films, heraldry, nature and stupid people. There is so much going on in the world these days, the constant change is inspirational.
What's your favourite color?
Blue.
When are you the most productive?
When I have a deadline to work to, it makes me work harder.
Where is your favourite vacation-spot?
There are so many great places to stay on the east coast of Australia, hard to pick one cause they all have something special.
What kind of music do you like?
I listen to lots of different stuff, at the moment I'm liking Fleet Foxes, M Ward, Fink, Pivot, Mogwai, The Draft, Tommy Guerrero, Russian Circles, Isis, Iron & Wine and Kings of Leon.
Any exhibitions planned this year?
I have a solo show opening next week at China Heights Gallery in Sydney, also the No Comply and Go Font ur Self group exhibitions. I'll be doing a couple of solo exhibitions in 2009.
What is your favourite material to work on?
I like painting on plywood and canvas, I also like drawing on paper.
What are your tools? (special pens, colors etc.)
I mostly use acrylic sample pots (house paint) or Matisse paints. I use permanent ink markers for all my black outlines. I like using rulers, spray paint and masking tape as well.
