Terms like Street Art have been used and abused far to often and the Glanzkinder Gallery doesn't like riding on old terms. Not unlike the community-portal Glanzkinder-Creatives.com the gallery identifies itself through the exhibiting artists. Creatives often deal with urban phenomenas in their surroundings, things in our cities which are screaming to be dealt with - no matter how. Isn't it more fascinating to figure things as they happen? Either way we're too young yet to be tied down. When facing the media hype around Street Art one should take a step back and ask oneself objectively, what is still a novelty? What is unpredictable, challenging or just refreshing?
