The Circleculture Gallery is a project space for urban art that was founded in 2001 by Dirk Staudinger and Johann Haehling von Lanzenauer. The gallery worked with prolific curators and artists such as Aaron Rose, Shepard Fairy, Adrian Nabi and JR. Circleculture represents a whole group of artists standing for the rising urban art movement in Berlin: Jaybo aka Monk, Anton Unai, Charlie Isoe, Daniel Tagno, Marok, XOOOOX. The name Circleculture stands for an idea of creativity which sees the gallery, the artists and the collectors as part of a cultural circle. This allows for a constant exchange of ideas and impulses - a creative giving and taking.
